PRESENTING COURSE & INTERVIEWS FOR TELEVISION In one of the most beautiful parts of the Netherlands, about an hour's drive from Amsterdam, Tineke Hulsbergen of Hulsbergen TV Productions BV teaches the Presenting and Interviewing for Television course. Tineke Hulsbergen, media trainer and coach, has been training aspiring presenters and program makers for over 15 years. Cameraman Jan Kloek will record the presentations and interviews. Step by step they handle assignments in an open and creative atmosphere to be able to present for different programs. You learn to make contact with the camera and become familiar with it. You learn to improve your posture and use of your voice and to put the right emphasis, so that the texts come across clearly. Attention is paid to text treatment and you learn to write good presentation texts. We are working on different genres of interview, such as the informative interview, the confrontational interview and the in-depth interview. By looking closely at the other person, you can distinguish verbal and nonverbal communication. Everything is recorded with the camera and analyzed. There is a lot of personal attention and you are given advice that will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and in front of a large audience. At the end of September / beginning of October we will be recording our (third) experimental film noir in-house. It will be submitted to various international film festivals, including the European Film Festival Paris. Title: Beyond 1984 Planned duration: + 15 – 20 minutes (short) synopsis: Monika and Charlotte, two students decide to escape their horrible lives once and for all by doing a big heist at a classmate's house. However, Monika does not realize that she has ended up in a dark conspiracy, but who is the real victim in the end? The theme of the film is the oppressive “Big Brother's watching you” idea; the invisible mediacracy – and how it hinders us in what we do and don't do. We are still looking for the three female leads: 2 actresses (age: 18 – 25) 1 actress (age 25 plus) Experience is a plus, but passion for film and acting and great improvisation skills are more important. You must be available on Sundays in October 2009. Reimbursement: will be discussed during intake interviews. We are also looking for several people (m/f) who want to assist us behind the scenes.
