Workshop Casting / Audition
If you only have 5 minutes to prove yourself - an average casting doesn't take much longer - it is all the more important to be well prepared in the studio. What is expected of you? What happens behind the scenes? How should you react to the camera? What does the director want? What does the cameraman want? In short, if you still have to find out in the limited time you have, the chance of success becomes a lot smaller. Increase your chance by getting well prepared. Under the guidance of casting director Menno Knap - he has already had a large part of the acting Netherlands in front of his casting camera - all these facets are discussed in this one-day workshop. In the ultramodern Wilhelmina Photo & Film Studio in the World Fashion Center in Amsterdam you will be professionally trained
familiarized with everything that happens in the field of casting / audition in front of and behind the camera. In addition to the informative part of the workshop, ample time has been reserved to discuss the recordings of the casting that we make of you and to provide advice. A script will be sent in advance. You play the relevant scenes with a guest teacher, which will be recorded on video. The guest lecturer will critically analyze the results. A DVD and certificate of participation are available at the end of the training. The costs for this workshop are:
165 euros per day.
Coffee / tea and lunch are included. The workshops will take place on Saturdays or Sundays.
Given the personal attention that the workshop requires, a limited number of students will be admitted per day.
