Audition Intensive A-year De Trap:
Sometimes at the beginning of the year you don't know what you want to do for the rest of the year. Some do not know until halfway through the year what they lacked in the first half. Others know exactly what to do in the second half, without feeling like they have to catch up.
On February 27, 2009, our 3-year professional acting course will start a 1st year (A-year) in the evenings and weekends. This trajectory offers a package of lessons that is equivalent to the trajectory that started in September, with a total of the same number of contact hours (17 teaching hours per week, a total of 20 weeks). The same criteria are used for transition to the 2nd year (B-year). From the B-year onwards, the study pressure is greater; for that reason, that learning path can only be followed from September to June.
Who is interested in participating:
You want to follow a professional acting course.
In the first instance, you want to be able to continue to combine it with a job or study.
You are aware that acting is a profession that requires a lot of discipline, dedication and endurance.
In addition to the professional trade, you want to find out where your qualities and possibilities lie.
What can you learn:
In the first year, elementary, technical acting skills, traditional aspects of the profession and a professional, investigative work attitude are taught.

The part-time acting training consists of a total of 3 years. A transitional selection takes place every year.
Contents:
Individual conversation, working on game assignments and improvisations led by teachers and doing a self-chosen monologue.

Stichting De Trap was founded in 1986 and was the first in the Netherlands to start offering professional private (part-time) acting training and (camera) acting workshops.
