I am looking for a fun, dynamic job in the film and TV world. I have been working at the ROC of Amsterdam for several years now as a Senior Staff Member in Student Administration, where I manage and supervise a team of five people. In any case, I have extensive administrative experience spanning many years. Furthermore, I develop database applications with Access, as well as websites using GoLive, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. Furthermore, I have a good knowledge of Access, Word, and Excel. I also enjoy developing websites on commission and manage, among others, the Dutch feature film website DeHollandseFilm.nl. In this new year, I hope to find *the* new administrative job where I can potentially also contribute my creative knowledge. I have a strong affinity with the Dutch film and TV world, and I therefore plan to do whatever it takes to find a nice job there. My name is Laura van der Meijden, and I would like to use this platform to introduce myself and my work. The website is primarily intended for people who share the same interests. My passion for historical costumes, and everything related to them, led me to decide to start designing and making a few costumes myself. I presented my first costumes at a small fair. Due to the great enthusiasm and interest of the public, I received commissions to design and make exclusive costumes for special events (window displays, theater companies, and theme parties). My costumes are also used at national hairdressing competitions/makeup courses and by photographers. It is also highly sought after as bridal wear, for which special designs are created.
