Audition: Training Acting for Film and Television
At the end of January/beginning of February (exact start date will follow) De Trap will start the acting course for Film and Television in the weekends.
You need to audition for this.
When is the audition:
Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Who is interested in participating:
Your passion lies in acting in front of the camera, you want to be intensively involved in this, working with the same group of people.
You want to be able to combine this with a job or other study. You have time during the day during the weekend.
What can you learn:
During 5 blocks (taught by various teachers) you learn to work on:
ensemble formation, learning a professional working posture, camera-technical game exercises, shot naming and terminology of the TV floor, physical awareness and use of body language, awareness of game blocks, space and form awareness, improvising, text analysis and text treatment, making interesting game choices, working independently, scene study, game depth and subtext, inner conflict, making it personal, putting individuality at the service of the character.
Content: There will be game assignments and short scenes. These are given on the day itself and there is no need to prepare anything.
Afterwards you will receive an edited DVD with your monologue, presentation, scene and a docu-drama recording.
