NFF: Gatekeepers and Sky-stormers Daily at the Netherlands Film Festival: from 16:15 to 18:30 The Netherlands Film Festival is introducing cultural conscription this year. We asked renowned directors to open their kitchens to up-and-coming talent and pass on their experiences. With this premise, the festival, in collaboration with the fifty-year-old NFTA, curated a film program in which two generations of filmmakers meet. One is at the beginning of their career and looks ahead, while the other has arrived and looks back. A film by both makers is screened, followed by an in-depth discussion about each other's work. A new pairing is featured daily, including Mike van Diem with Joke Liberge, Mijke de Jong with Jaap van Heusden, and Nanouk Leopold with David Verbeek.
