Hi everyone, I am Dutch. I'm posting this in English to cater to both English and Dutch-speaking readers. You're working on a story, script or play. Maybe you're feeling a bit stuck, or perhaps your work is not quite finished yet and you would love to hear it come to life to find out what it sounds like. Or maybe you want your work to be as appealing as possible for the potential actors that will bring your characters to life and you're curious about what draws experienced actors to a specific piece of work. Or maybe you would like to set up some time to do an online table read of your work with me (and any other people you'd like to include), which is a great way for you to hear your work come to life and workshop the material. I am an experienced actor who has acted on and off for the past 30 years, both in theater and film. I've lived in Los Angeles, California for nearly 20 years and studied theater and film there at the Lee Strasberg Institute. I'm fluent and comfortable in both English and Dutch. I offer this for free simply because I love creative collaboration and it allows me to keep reading new material in between acting projects that I do. Dear network, I am a starting filmmaker and want to gain more experience in making film, especially in camera work and editing, and therefore offer my help free of charge in exchange for more experience. In December 2022 I completed the pre-education film making at the Dutch Academy for Image Creation. For example, I could go on a shooting day and support and make short "behind the scenes" film of the filmmaker. This is just an example and I am also open to other forms of cooperation. I live in Eindhoven, so preferably in the North Brabant region and I just have a full-time job, so I'm mainly available in the evenings and weekends.
