In four online sessions, you will learn how to design an educational film lesson. During the series, you will develop a lesson outline inspired by a film (or film clip). You will learn how to tailor the lesson to the target audience, how to structure the lesson, and how to provide it with a clear introductory video. In the final session, you will present the lesson you created to your fellow participants for feedback. The goal is to have your own lesson design after the series that you can teach or offer yourself, or a basis for a design that you can further develop afterwards.

At the Natourale Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany, 'FLOW – an ode to urban nature' was awarded the prize for Best Short Film in the Nature category. Earlier this year, this film by Suzanne van Leendert also won the Best Experimental Film award at the VAASA Wildlife Festival in Finland, after being screened in the Netherlands, Canada (Ontario International Film Festival), and the United States (International Strasbourg Film Festival). Suzanne van Leendert went in search of a connection with nature in her immediate surroundings, a canal in the city of Utrecht, her 'backyard' as it were. It is a poetic, associative, and experimental film that shows that nature is not separate from us but is all around us.
