Knowing that knowledge and passion are two things not to be underestimated in a filmmaker I come up with one statement. I want to learn at your company as an intern from September to December. Studying media design with an emphasis on audiovisual production and animation with a focus on directing and screenwriting at the ROC Friese Poort in Drachen, the given the opportunity to work on several fantastic projects including a short award-winning documentary as a director, writer, producer, DP and editor. I also worked on an American feature film as 1st AD and actor who was on location shot in Bangkok. Wanted: internship/side job production assistance

Who am I? I will briefly introduce myself: my name is Esther and I am a 22-year-old Communications student from Groningen. I just got back from a study semester in San Diego where I got acquainted with the media production profession, where we devised, drew (storyboard), filmed and edited short films. I enjoyed this so much that I talked to my teacher and asked him for advice on a career in media production. We also attended the production of the TV show Mom in Los Angeles with this class. Film and theater have long been huge passions of mine. The theater and the cinema are places that breathe creativity and where I feel at home. A while ago I therefore decided to actively do something in the theater field and I then joined the organization of the Groninger Studenten Cabaret and as a performer with the Groninger Studenten Toneel (we played an absurdist version of Frankenstein written by Ko van den Bosch of the NNT). Being actively involved in productions, and working with creative people who are completely immersed in this, are fantastic. At the moment I am finishing my Bachelor and in September I will move to Amsterdam for a Communication Master at the UvA. Now I'm looking at whether I can do something in the field of film production in a different way. The job that attracts me the most is that of a producer. In my opinion, my strongest points lie in my organizational and networking skills. What am I looking for I would like to learn a lot about the duties of a producer. A part-time job or internship as a production assistant, where I am very close to the producer, would therefore be fantastic. I am actually looking for an internship or part-time job that can be combined with my studies at the University of Amsterdam. In addition, I am available full time during the summer.
