De Spelstudio – the acting school of Flevoland – offers workshop series for talented and driven individuals aged 15 and over who wish to develop (further) in the acting profession. This requires a certain degree of dedication, openness, and willpower. De Spelstudio works primarily from improvisation and joins you in searching for your authenticity and individuality as an actor. Development and deepening come first. Productions, presentations, and performances come later. In addition to the regular workshops and lesson series, De Spelstudio is also organizing workshop days in 2012. These can be viewed as standalone workshops or as an orientation to a lesson series. The next workshop day will be on March 24, from 12:00 to 18:00 at Theater & Kunstencentrum De Glasbak, Almere Muziekwijk. The emphasis during this workshop will be on elementary play. I just arrived to Amsterdam and I am currently looking for a job on sound in the Netherlands or around. Working as a Sound Engineer throughout my professional life has given me the opportunity to develop essential problem solving skills. I often had the opportunity to be single-handedly in charge of technical support as a result of this experience I am fully capable of working independently. At the same time, my customer relation skills proved to be very important as I constantly deal with clients i.e, musicians and other performers. I have worked well in a stressful and demanding environment and with this learnt how to be a productive part of a strong and cooperative team in achieving our goal. I have worked in several different capital cities and with a different variety of sound equipment. I have worked on live sound, studio recording, different kind of events and theatre plays. Because of this and my commitment I have developed versatility in learning within each new situation. I am passionate for sound, live and recording studio.
