Hello, I am Jennifer Schenk, I am 24 years old, and I completed my degree in Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. I had always wanted to work in television or advertising, which is why I chose this program, as it offered many different career paths. When I finished this program, I realized how difficult it was to find enjoyable work. Because I was also still very young, I decided to first pursue a two-year sports training program at NHB Deurne. Now that I have finished that education, I am certain that a job in film or television production is really what I would like to do for the rest of my life. I have attended many different shoots in the past, because I have always found it very interesting how a production is made and how the final product is actually broadcast on television. A job in production really appeals to me because no day is the same, your tasks are very diverse, and you don't sit behind a desk all day. Last year, I worked on the production of a short film for the film festival. During this time, I gained extensive experience in all aspects of the production process, including devising the script, scouting locations, liaising with suppliers and extras, creating call sheets, arranging catering, and actually helping out on set. I am highly motivated, perform well both in a team and independently, do not have a 9-to-5 mentality, and hold a B driver's license. I am very precise and patient and always give it my all. I can also perform well under heavy time pressure and can adapt well to unexpected situations or events. I would really like to hear from you if you have a suitable job for me!
