Ambitious project manager is looking for a creative project!
I am Saba van Hoften, 22 years old, and living in Amsterdam. I studied for two years at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague. There, I mainly focused on making stop-motion animation films and film performances in which I played the lead role.
Over the past year, I have worked as a Project Manager at Stichting Mediamatic, a cultural institution in Amsterdam. In this role, I was responsible for, among other things, setting up and managing the exhibition El Hema. In addition to El Hema, I was responsible for managing an exhibition on Guest Worker Dating, setting up a Sleep-Inn in our exhibition space where visitors could stay overnight during the Kunstrai and Kunstvlaai, and a Kate Bush evening to mark the occasion of the documentary 'Come Back Kate'. During the exhibition, I was responsible for all production and the styling of the acts. Furthermore, I coordinated the relocation of our office and exhibition space and was responsible for setting up the supporting catering.
I am a creative jack-of-all-trades who doesn't like to sit still. I would like to further develop myself in the film and television industry as a production assistant or stylist.
