Chakib Belhaj (September 30, 1985) is a Dutch Moroccan actor, artist and presenter. Belhaj was born in Morocco but moved to the Netherlands with his mother at a young age, where he attended the Catholic school De Beekhof in Sint-Michielsgestel and then secondary school (koning willem1college). After he successfully completed his education (retail trade), his interest in music and film grew. Because of this, Chakib started to develop himself as a full-fledged artist. In addition to well-known national and international deejays, he voiced as Mc at Dance events. This did not go unnoticed and Chakib soon entered the studios with the largest Dutch deejays. In 2008, for example, he could also be seen in the cinema commercial of the Amsterdam police in which he took on the role of a violent Dutch-Moroccan boy. In 2009 he signed a record deal with the popular music company Berk Music, which led to success in 42 countries with his hit single the beat dont stop.
